Popülist liderlerin Türkiye’de seçmen davranışları üzerindeki etkisi, popülist liderlerin özellikle ekonomik kriz dönemlerinde nasıl geniş kitleleri etkilediği ve 2018-2023 seçim kampanyalarındaki stratejiler değerlendirildi. Bunun beraberinde siyasi kutuplaşmanın bilgiye erişim ve medya üzerindeki, haber kaynaklarının homojenleşme ve kayıtsız bilginin yayılımı konularında görüşlerini paylaştı.Ayrıca 1990’lardan günümüze özellikle 2013 krizi olayları ve 2017 Anayasa Değişikliği sonrası seçim güvenliği, siyasi kutuplaşma ve genç seçmen oranının apolitikleşme eylemi ve demokratik kurumlara olan güveni tartışıldı.

The impact of populist leaders on voter behavior in Turkey was evaluated, with a particular focus on how these leaders influence large segments of the population during times of economic crisis and the strategies employed during the 2018–2023 election campaigns. In addition, the discussion addressed the effects of political polarization on access to information and the media, the homogenization of news sources, and the spread of unchecked information. The conversation also covered election security, political polarization, the depoliticization of young voters, and trust in democratic institutions—especially in the context of the 2013 crisis and the 2017 constitutional referendum, tracing developments from the 1990s to the present.
